Pursuant to art. 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, MEP protects and respects your personal information. As a result, we have created this statement to make it clear to users how we collect, use, and communicate personal data. The following rules define our policy on the protection of personal data.
We strive to inform users about our policies and practices relating to the management of collected information data.

2. Purpose of the treatment and types of data processed and purposes of processing
The mobile applications of MEP collect the following information.
Data collected
We collect personal information to provide better service to users, such as figuring out basic stuff like the type of disability or more complex elements such as photos and comments useful for sharing any reports, data sensors from smartphones and tablets and display preferences information on a cartographic map.
We collect information in the following ways:

Explicit data provided by the user. Our service requires creating a personal account explicitly providing personal information such as profile picture, name, email address, city of origin,type of disability and possible mobility problems in an urban context. By agreeing to authorize the use of the name and profile picture, other subscribers to the service can view any photos / comments associated with reports made on a cartographic map. Other information such as email address, city of belonging and type of disability shall be considered protected and not viewable by third parties and / or other subscribers to the service.

Implicit data collected from the smartphone / tablet. We collect information on the GPS position and device sensors during user navigation, such as accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope. These data will be considered aggregates and merged with other data collected from other users in order to process them to ensure optimal and personalized service on the private profile of the person using that service. The user / visitor viewing on a map cartographic data collected, will not be aware of the contributions sent by individual users. No data from the MEP service will be communicated or released unless the user does not assess the possibility of sharing such information on other social networks such as Facebook and Google+ directly from your profile.

Other types of data collected. We collect other types of non-anonymous data associated with the user during the acquisition phase of data sensors, such as the type of device and a unique identifier, the version of the kernel and the operating system, the status of other various types of active sensors during the acquisition and the battery consumption. These data are used for statistical purposes and research.
We may collect, so anonymous data in order to improve the implementation and administration purposes. This information is anonymous does not identify any individual. The collected data can include location, device / computer, operating system, device model, and user actions.
Website and Cookies
While browsing the website, your computer and the affected software to operate the site acquire in the course of normal use some data, whose transmission is implicit in the Internet communication protocols. 5. Rights of the treatment
